Awarded the 2021 Equipment World Contractor of the Year, Pruss Excavation is well diversified in the earthmoving business.
Our projects vary from dams and wetlands to golf courses and commercial building pads. We have been in the dirt business since Pruss Excavation became a registered corporation in the state of Nebraska in 1973.
We have over 50 pieces of heavy equipment in our fleet, and our services are unlimited. Whatever type of excavation project you have, we are ready to be part of the solution.

James (Jim) Pruss, Jr. joins his father in business.

Pruss Excavation becomes a registered corporation with the state of Nebraska.

Jim Pruss, Jr. assumes the role of president.

Matt Pruss becomes the third generation of the Pruss family to join the business. Matt is the vice president.

Awarded Nebraska Governor’s Flood Hero Certificate for our efforts recovering from the 2019 ice-jams and flooding along the Elkhorn River.
